1. It's at HOME! your comfort zone, your space, your atmosphere. You control the temperature, the lighting, the music, the guests, the everything.
2. You call the shots. Nobody else tells you what to do or how to do it. Some bosses can be reasonable, but most of the time, there's a conflict of interest. Their desire to build their business conflicts with your desire to have a life. If you're the boss, there's no conflict. You create your balance between work and play.
3. You don't have to deal with the inclement weather unless there's some sort of emergency. If your business is based at your home, you do not have to travel in any type of storm to get to work. Snow, rain, wind, hail, whatever exists in the region you live in stays outside while you are safe inside.
4. You don't have to wake up earlier than you naturally wake up. No need for an alarm clock unless you have children to hustle off to school so you can get back to bed. As long as you actually do get up eventually and work, you can sleep as late as you want.
5. Peace and quiet. Unless you're going to be testing bells and whistles, the noise level will decrease significantly when you change your workplace from an outside office to inside your own home. You don't have to hear gossip, yelling, profanity, etc. The atmosphere will be as quiet and peaceful as you make it, because it's based in YOUR home!
It may sound too good to be true, but it's really not. If you're determined to reap the benefits of a home-based business, you can put forth the effort to make it a reality.
